What Parents Have to Say

Check out what the parents of our students say about us.

Do you provide transportation to and from nearby schools?

Liberty Hill ISD transportation bus drops off kids from Rancho Sienna Elementary at our Center. Although currently not approved by Childcare Licensing, we intend to pick up students from Santa Rita and Larkspur Elementary starting Fall 2020. Let us know if you need your child to be picked up from any other location and we will do our best to include it in our route.

My child has allergies. Can he/she attend Hilltop Children’s Center?

We are a peanut-free school. If your child has other specific allergies, we will try to accommodate your concerns. It is your responsibility to be in touch with the teacher to communicate dietary issues. We would like you to provide us with an epi pen in case of emergency. Although we follow your instructions, Hilltop Children’s Center does not take responsibility for any allergic reactions your child may have.

Do you administer medication?

Hilltop Children’s Center does not administer any medication without a note from your child’s doctor. We do not have a medical professional on staff.

What is the policy on children who are sick?

Any child with a fever of 100.1 or higher will be isolated from the group and have to be picked up by a parent immediately. Students must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to the school.

Does my child have to take a nap?

Because state law requires that all children under the age of 5 will need to take an afternoon, Hilltop Children’s Center complies faithfully with this rule. If you wish for your child not to take a nap, you may write an excuse letter. Have other questions? Please review our Parent Handbook or feel free to contact us.

Are Snacks and Meals Included?

We believe wholeheartedly in the importance of childhood nutrition, and include morning and afternoon snacks. Healthy, “home-cooked” lunch, and breakfast, may be purchased for $65/month. Our menu plans are nutritionally balanced and meet the required food components and portion size at each meal. As with every aspect of our child care services we’ve taken the time to design a child nutrition program that keeps your child well-fueled throughout the day. Your child may have second servings of anything we serve, but we do encourage them to at least try every food group that is offered.

Can I Pre-register my child to reserve his/her space if we are moving to the area within next few weeks?

You may Preregister you child by using our Procare Registration link, filling out the Registration Form or calling our school.

What curriculum do you use ?

Each classroom has it’s own Nationally Recognized age-appropriate Frog Street Curriculum. You may visit our Program Page to learn more about the curriculum.

What safety measures does Hilltop Children’s Center take to ensure the children’s safety during the pandemic?

Proper hand washing has always been part of our routine and our teaching. We have taken several measure to decrease the risk of cross-contamination into our school. Please read our Covid-19 Update page to learn more.
